What to Expect
Your first visit is focused on understanding your pain, medical history, symptoms, previous treatments, and personal goals. From there, our physician will work with you to create a personalized care plan that may include diagnostic evaluation, conservative treatment options, interventional pain procedures, medication management, or a combination of approaches.
Our goal is to provide clear communication, compassionate care, and treatment recommendations designed to improve comfort, mobility, and quality of life.
Before Your Visit
Complete your new-patient forms online ahead of time and bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a current medication list, and any outside imaging, such as MRI or X-ray reports or discs.
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment so our team can complete check-in and make sure everything is ready for your visit.
During Your Visit
Your first visit is a conversation. We review your history, examine your function, and walk through your options together.
Most office procedures take 15–30 minutes, while more involved interventions can take up to an hour. Every procedure is performed under image guidance with local anesthetic, and we discuss the risks, benefits, and alternatives with you beforehand. Nitrous oxide is available on-demand if you would like extra comfort.
After Your Visit
Most office-based procedures involve little to no downtime, and because nitrous oxide wears off within minutes, most patients drive themselves home.
If a procedure involves additional sedation, we will tell you in advance, and you will need a driver. We will review aftercare instructions and schedule any follow-up before you leave.
