Frequently Asked Questions

Many patients can self-refer, though some insurance plans require a referral from your primary care provider. We are happy to help you check.
We work with many major plans, including Optum and BlueCross BlueShield. Network status varies by employer plan, so please verify your specific coverage with our office prior to scheduling.
Most office procedures take about 15–30 minutes. More involved interventional procedures can take up to an hour.
Procedures are performed under image guidance with local anesthetic for comfort, and nitrous oxide is available on-demand if you feel anxious.

For most office procedures, no. If additional sedation is used, we will let you know in advance, and you will need a driver.

Please bring a photo ID, your insurance card, a current medication list, and any outside imaging, such as MRI or X-ray results.
Yes. Certain restorative treatments, including PRP therapy for knee pain, are available on a cash-pay basis. Contact our office for details.
It depends on the treatment. Some injections provide relief within days, while therapies like radiofrequency ablation may build over a few weeks. We will set clear expectations for your specific plan.
